Diabetes Quebec is pleased to offer summer scholarships to health sciences students interested in diabetes research.
There are three categories: Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD. Your level of study at the time of application defines the category. All undergraduate PhDs are considered BSc students. For the MSc and PhD categories, only students enrolled in their first year are eligible, those enrolled on or after May 1, 2022. Summer scholarships are in the amount of $4,500.
Important
No indirect research fee (IRF) will be collected by the institution
Cumulation with any other annual award of more than $15,000 is prohibited
SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION
The application must be completed in full before confirming submission and leaving the form. Otherwise, the information and documentation provided will be lost and you will have to resubmit your application. You can view the PDF version of the application form for planning purposes.
Applicants must complete all fields and attach all required documents in order for their application to be reviewed by the Diabetes Québec Scholarship Committee.
Application documents may be written in either French or English, except for the cover letter and lay abstract which must be written in French
You must use the form provided to submit your lay abstract
Incomplete applications will be disqualified
The deadline for submission is Friday, January 27, 2023 at 4:30 pm.
Results will be communicated to you by email in mid-April 2023.
