Research grants

This program is primarily intended for early career researchers (0-10 years experience since their first faculty or independent researcher position in a research center). Grants are awarded in the amount of $20,000.

Note: No indirect research costs (IRF) will be collected by the institution

TWO ADDITIONAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES IN 2023!

Merit Grant: $100,000
As part of the 2023 competition, the Merit Grant will be awarded to the best research project submitted. Applicants will be asked to check the box “I wish to apply for the Merit Grant” and to submit an additional letter explaining the additional scope of their project should they be selected for this Merit Grant.

India Tanguay-Doucet Special Grant: $50,000
This special grant will be awarded to the best project in type 1 diabetes. The applicant will need to check the box “My project is about type 1 diabetes” to be automatically considered.

India Tanguay-Doucet was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 9. Over the past few years, members of her family have increased their fundraising efforts to enable Diabetes Québec to present this special grant.

SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION
The application must be completed in full before confirming submission and leaving the form. Otherwise, the information and documentation provided will be lost and you will have to resubmit your application.   • Applicants must complete all fields and attach all required documents in order for their application to be reviewed by the Diabetes Québec Scholarship Committee
  • Application documents may be written in either French or English
  • Incomplete applications will be disqualified

The deadline for submission is Friday, January 27, 2023 at 4:30 pm.

Results will be communicated to you by email in mid-April 2023.
