Diabète Québec is proud to highlight that Dr. Rémi Rabasa-Lhoret is the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Excellence in Care Award from the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec (FMSQ). This recognition was presented to him this morning during the Interdisciplinary Training Days, in front of more than 600 medical specialists.
An endocrinologist, clinical director, and researcher at the Institut de recherche clinique de Montréal (IRCM) and the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), as well as President of the Professional Council of Diabetes Québec (CPDQ), Dr. Rabasa-Lhoret was recognized for his outstanding contributions to endocrinology and to the care of people living with diabetes. In particular, he was acknowledged for his multidisciplinary initiatives that improve patient well-being and help reduce pressure on the healthcare system.
We warmly congratulate Dr. Rabasa-Lhoret on this prestigious award and sincerely thank him for his deep commitment to diabetes and his exemplary involvement with Diabète Québec and people living with diabetes across Quebec.
