Diab\u00e8te Qu\u00e9bec is proud to highlight that Dr. R\u00e9mi Rabasa-Lhoret is the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Excellence in Care Award from the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des m\u00e9decins sp\u00e9cialistes du Qu\u00e9bec (FMSQ). This recognition was presented to him this morning during the Interdisciplinary Training Days, in front of more than 600 medical specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An endocrinologist, clinical director, and researcher at the Institut de recherche clinique de Montr\u00e9al (IRCM) and the Centre hospitalier de l’Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (CHUM), as well as President of the Professional Council of Diabetes Qu\u00e9bec (CPDQ), Dr. Rabasa-Lhoret was recognized for his outstanding contributions to endocrinology and to the care of people living with diabetes. In particular, he was acknowledged for his multidisciplinary initiatives that improve patient well-being and help reduce pressure on the healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We warmly congratulate Dr. Rabasa-Lhoret on this prestigious award and sincerely thank him for his deep commitment to diabetes and his exemplary involvement with Diab\u00e8te Qu\u00e9bec and people living with diabetes across Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
