For the occasion, twelve Montreal buildings were lit up in blue to show their support for the cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why the color blue?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The World Diabetes Day logo is a blue circle. The meaning of this circle is very positive. In all cultures, the circle symbolizes life and health.
