Grants are awarded in the amount of $20,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: No indirect research costs (IRF) will be collected by the institution<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TWO ADDITIONAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES IN 2023!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Merit Grant: $100,000<br><\/strong>As part of the 2023 competition, the Merit Grant will be awarded to the best research project submitted. Applicants will be asked to check the box &#8220;I wish to apply for the Merit Grant&#8221; and to submit an additional letter explaining the additional scope of their project should they be selected for this Merit Grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>India Tanguay-Doucet Special Grant: $50,000<br><\/strong>This special grant will be awarded to the best project in type 1 diabetes. The applicant will need to check the box &#8220;My project is about type 1 diabetes&#8221; to be automatically considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India Tanguay-Doucet was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 9. Over the past few years, members of her family have increased their fundraising efforts to enable Diabetes Qu\u00e9bec to present this special grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION<br><\/strong>The application must be completed in full before confirming submission and leaving the form. Otherwise, the information and documentation provided will be lost and you will have to resubmit your application.
