University researchers, health professionals (physicians, dietitians, kinesiologists, and psychologists) from major diabetes centres across the province, along with their patient partners, have joined forces to implement the BETTER (BEhaviors, Therapies, TEchnologies and hypoglycemic Risk in Type 1 diabetes) program. <\/p>\n              <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n          <\/a>        <\/div>\n\n      \n        <div class=\"bubble-ctas-block__item-wrapper\">\n          <a href='https:\/\/www.diabete.qc.ca\/en\/research\/research-news\/est-ce-quun-traitement-agressif-permet-la-remission-du-diabete-de-type-2\/' class=\"bubble-ctas-block__item\">            <div class=\"bubble-ctas-block__item__inner\" style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.diabete.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Pixabay_Walking_Physical_activity_legs_2635038_1920.jpg);\">\n              <div class=\"bubble-ctas-block__item__texts-wrapper\">\n                <h3 class=\"bubble-ctas-block__item__title\">An agressive treatment for the remission of type 2 diabetes?<\/h3>\n                <p class=\"bubble-ctas-block__item__text\">Currently, treatments for type 2 diabetes aim to control the level of sugar in the blood (blood glucose) to minimize the risk of developing long-term complications (e.g., damage to the kidneys, eyes, and nerves).
