If the symptoms are severe, get yourself to the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The symptoms of type 1 diabetes can appear progressively or suddenly. Diabetes doesn\u2019t always present the same way, with the same intensity or with all these symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The symptoms of prediabetes &nbsp;are usually absent. When present, they may be similar to those of a person with diabetes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n                    \n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:70%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Type 1<\/strong> diabetes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Symptoms of type 1 diabetes can appear gradually or suddenly, depending on the case.<br>In addition to the symptoms listed above, there may be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abdominal cramps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fruity breath, due to the presence of ketone bodies in the blood or urine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prediabetes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are rarely symptoms in the presence of prediabetes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column has-grey-300-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:30%\">\n<p>In many cases, symptoms of type 2 diabetes are so minor that they go undetected for several years. It is estimated that it takes seven years on average before a physician makes a diagnosis.
