The India Tanguay-Doucet Fund

India was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 9. She turned 17 in the fall of 2015 and is leading her life fully, actively and passionately. Her mother, Manon Tanguay, and her cousin, Marie- Ève Tanguay, have successfully completed Diabetes Quebec’s charitable trip in Iceland in September 2015 to encourage India to continue to fight the face of adversity. They realized plenty of activities to raise funds for research. They have raised over $ 20,000 and completed the physical challenge of a 130km hike. In 2016, they continue their fundraising activities as part of the India Tanguay-Doucet Bursary that will go to a researcher in the field of type 1 diabetes. Encourage them !
